We close out the week with art by the supremely talented Ben Dunn, founder of Antarctic Comics and creator of Ninja High School and... Warrior Nun Areala! Here's a great patriotic picture from the cover of Areala's crossover with Rob Liefeld's Glory! Can't think of a better way to close off this Independence Day week.
As always, you can check out a lot more Great Art over on the Tumblr. And after you're done admiring some great art here, don’t forget to check out some of the other great stuff on the site this week!

Kickstart the Week 39: Ninja High School Textbook
It is a new year and a new era of Kickstarter, IndieGoGo and Patreon projects!
We kick off the new year with the second massive collection of an absolute classic of American manga: Ben Dunn's Ninja High School.
First started thirty years ago, I actually started reading colorized editions of the first issues right around the time the issues in the second volume of the NHS Textbook series were published. Issues 24 through 43 saw print from 1990 to 1994 and covered the transition of the title from Eternity Comics (a subsidiary of Malibu) to Antarctic Press (a small press founded and ran concurrently to NHS by Dunn himself.)
With the series slowly moving towards a return and now at its 30th anniversary, creator Ben Dunn has set out to collect the nearly two hundred issues of the comic (including various mini-series and spinoffs) published over the past thirty years.

Kickstart the Week 33: Paper Dreams 2
I am a big supporter of Ben Dunn's work. I regularly followed him on and off Ninja High School and Warrior Nun Areala as a kid and have remained a fan through the years, whether it was his short-lived Marvel Mangaverse run or more recent releases like the Antarctic Press incarnation of Airboy.
Over the years, he's created tons of great art in his familiar manga-influenced style. He collected a lot of this just a couple years ago in an artbook called Paper Dreams which he funded on Kickstarter. Now he is back on Kickstarter to fund its sequel, aptly titled Paper Dreams 2.
At an affordable fifteen bucks for a print edition, this is a great way for fans or just lovers of great art to get a look at Ben's art. I am not a huge anime or manga fan, but Dunn seems like one of the finest artists to combine that style with more western comic sensibilities. He truly is a skilled artist and a guy worth seeing more from on a regular basis.
Head over to Kickstarter and give Paper Dreams 2 your support.

Kickstart the Week 3: Science is Magic
Ben Dunn has been a favorite creator of yours truly for years from his work on Ninja High School and Warrior Nun Areala to more recent projects like Airboy. Now he is back with a new series Science is Magic which he is looking for extra production funds through Kickstarter. The new book looks like a lot of fun and like so many of Ben’s Kickstarters before it, he offers some great prices on sketches and commission to go along with it. Go give it a look at Kickstarter.
