Kickstart the Week 36: Die! Kitty! Die!

What happens when you unleash two creators known for their Archie work on a project of their own? Well, it sure looks like you get a fun graphic novel with a bit more edge than your average issue of Archie Double Digest.

Dan Parent (creator of Kevin Keller) and Fernando Ruiz have joined forces to bring the world Die Kitty Die! The metatextual comic is all about a comic character at the end of their run and her facing the impending death that comes with it.


Kitty Ravencraft bears more than a passing resemblance to Sabrina, but her adventures will have a bit more edge than any Melissa Joan Hart adventures. The series will focus on her battle with her creators as she seeks to use her magic to survive their attempts on her life.

It sounds like a huge amount of fun with some great art in the ever familiar style of the creators. For more details, check out the project on Kickstarter.

This will bring the 2015 Kickstarters to an end, as December is a no fly zone for Kickstarter until after Christmas. But you will see a few other features on Monday, including some more Patreon projects well worth supporting. As always, stay tuned!
