Kickstart the Week 35: The Supers

I enjoy funny superhero comics. I grew up on Justice League International and Damage Control. I think comedy doesn't have to get in the way of great drama. I'm certainly not the only one, as the Marvel Cinematic Universe has made millions combining laughs with great action. But hilarious comics are not nearly as prevalent.


The Supers aims to change that with a great new super-title that doesn't shy away from being funny while also telling a compelling tale of a ragtag team of heroes.

Created by Chris Morris and drawn by Ricky Gunawan, The Supers looks like a winning idea with great art to go with its humor. The rewards look to feature a lot of original art too, which should make fans of the sample works in the video above happy.
